Pro Care Innovations is new to Tulsa but has already created more than 20 jobs in the last 30 days and is projected to bring another 60-80 nursing positions to the market in the next six months to a year.
Pro Care Innovations specializes in preventive health care by offering physician offices all-inclusive programs for Annual Wellness Visits (AWV) and Chronic Care Management (CCM) in an effort to prevent unwanted medical events for patients.
The AWV is a yearly appointment to discuss a plan of preventive care for the coming year. It is a covered benefit for all patients who have been on Medicare Part B for twelve months. It is designed to lower health care spending costs by encouraging patients to have preventive screenings performed in a timely manner.
CCM services are specifically for Medicare patients who have two or more serious conditions that are expected to last at least a year. This includes conditions like arthritis, asthma, diabetes, hypertension, obesity and more. Patients receive monthly check-in calls and other services to ensure their condition is being managed between in-office appointments.
Pro Care Innovations currently operates a call center staffed with licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and medical assistants (MAs) who check on chronic care patients monthly via phone to keep track of any changes in their health. They also provide nursing staff in-office to conduct annual wellness visits for qualifying patients.
